Stephen Fry...Catholic versus Protestant, essentially. It's that kind of fight.... And it goes on to this day. Will we never learn? Who knows? Religion. Shit it.
About This Quote
A lot of people believe that religion is a big part of a society's breakdown. The idea is that people who disagree with each other become so angry and bitter toward one another that they will resort to violence. While I consider myself a fairly open-minded person, I have to agree with this idea. Religion is significant in the world today because it is used as a means of dividing the world into different factions.
For instance, if you are Catholic you are automatically a member of the greater Church and cannot be considered apart from the Church. If I were to say that I am Catholic, that would automatically classify me as a member of the greater Church which would then make me a part of a faction.
